Payten is a respectful and diligent student. She is always keen to help out around our class and works well with others. She is a great role model for everyone in our Pukaki Whanau.

Grant works to the best of his ability each and every day. He is always looking to challenge himself and he consistently shows our school values of courage and commitment. Grant is always willing to help out his peers and sets an example for our class with his positive, can-do attitude.

Archie is always striving to do his best, and follows the success criteria to ensure he is on task. He is always willing to help his peers and offer great ideas.

What an outstanding role model you are, Ollie. Within our whanau you are always looking for ways to support your fellow peers showing ahwi and truly lifting their mana - manaaki. Your role as a prefect is incredibly busy, and yet this does not get in the way of your desire to learn. Your motivation and collaboration is incredible. Ngā Mihi nui kia koe, Ollie.

On his first day in Graphic Design Mataatua was respectful and focused. Without asking he quietly helped others who were struggling to follow the activities. He showed initiative and effectively managed his own learning,

Sam has made such a valuable contribution to our class with her thoughtful ways of helping where she sees a need. She shows kindness and caring sensitivity to those who are struggling with their learning and will quietly bring it to the attention of her teacher. I am proud of her for having the courage to stand up for what is right.
Kahu Turner Tunohopu 5
Kahu consistently demonstrates kindness and respect for others. He goes out of his way to help others who are struggling. Kahu is empathetic and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of others. He is a humble team player and is always willing to celebrate others' success.

Joshua has had a go at every learning activity this term. He is already doing the right thing during transitions; he is trusted to follow the school expectations.

It has been fabulous to see you grow in your tuakana role, Kelly. You show respect and kindness towards your peers and kaiako. You're always willing to help, and ready to try new opportunities, all with that lovely smile on your face. Well done, Kelly. Keep being awesome.

Ko koe ā runga Sione ia rā, ia rā. Sione is one of our leaders in our whare and whanau and exceeds all expectations when it comes to leading his classroom, whanau and kura. He gives everything a go and is always supporting his peers. No reira ka tika me tuku mihi kia koe Sione.
Isla Osborne Pathways -Te Rangiwaho1
Isla has shown commitment to her learning and effort in understanding new concepts and ideas in pathways. She has participated effectively in group and class discussion and shown self management by completing all her written tasks to an extremely high standard. Her work is clear and precise and clearly shows her thinking and understanding.
2022 TAI MITCHELL TOURNAMENT:
Rotorua Intermediate had a number of players representing Rotorua Gold at the 2022 Tai Mitchell tournament who fought hard during wet and wild conditions at the prestigious annual Tai Mitchell Rugby Tournament in Rotorua at the beginning g if the holidays.
There were nine teams in both grades and both Golds teams fought their way through tough competition to make the finals.
The girls went down to Te Puke 22-12 in a closely-fought match, while Galatea came out on top 13-10 in a nail-biter boys' final.
A huge congratulations to the below Rotorua Intermediate students who took part, as well as to those who received special awards.
