How he came to rule.
Phillip II, Alexanders father, conquered Greece in 338 B.C. Phillip II dreamed of conquering more, but was assassinated at his daughters wedding before he had the chance to. After his death, Olympias, Phillips wife, outmaneuvered Phillips other wives and children to get Alexander on the throne.
Alexander Conquers Persia
Alexanders army took Persia first. The country was the weakest it had been and it was the perfect time for the young ruler to strike.
Alexander contiues to conquer.
After taking Persia, Alexander continues and conquers Palestine, South Egypt, and Babylon.
