why should bullying be taken seriously??
Bullying should be taken very seriously because it could lead to possible death and\or serious injuries. Children and adolescents who are bullied are at increased risk for mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, headaches, and problems adjusting to school.
When we think of bullying, physical and verbal harassment comes to mind, including teasing, taunting, threatening, and hitting. Some times bullying refers to physical or psychological intimidation that occurs repeatedly. The stakes are high for what bullying can lead to, many teens who commit suicide experienced at least some bullying. The consequences for bullying leads to abuse and even suicide. Millions of people find Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites to be enjoyable and fun--yet there are also dangers....Cyber criminals often assume false identities in order to lure unsuspecting victims.
A research study conducted by ProQuest Staff "Mental health experts warn that bullying can have life-long consequences for the victims."
This is a good quote because bullying can lead to after cause effect and some people do not even know it.

This quote is a good source because it is an actual indecent where some one has died because of bullying.

Most people just think that bullying is just verbal but it ia actually verbal, physical, and emotional.

more than half of the kids today have social media. the people that they follow online could easily bully them and the parents wont even know.
counterargument
Some people think that cyber bullies are just having fun and think that it is hurting nobody but in reality the victim is thinking about hurting themselves. bullying can lead to mental health and possible death. As ProQuest Staff states "Mental health experts warn that bullying can have life-long consequences for the victims."
This picture shoes that cyber bullying is online and that the person that is the victim is scared about what the cyber bully is doing to them.
