Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
On Tuesday, we celebrated our 100th day of school here at Goshen Center School. During the day students participated in many “100th day” activities including our kindergarten students who brought in a collection of 100 items from home and one of our kindergarten students, Apollo, chose to donate 100 food items to our Student Council Food Drive! Great job Apollo for supporting this very important cause!

Message from Wamogo:
INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES IN WORLD LANGUAGE
In order to advance world language studies in high school and to give our students a more rigorous language experience, we will be changing our current 7th grade exploratory format. Beginning in September 2016, seventh grade students will begin world language class upon entering Wamogo and will attend world language classes every other day for the entire year. They will continue to follow this pattern through the eighth grade, completing a whole year of foreign language before entering high school. Students will gain knowledge and experience in developmental guidance, study skills and the Agricultural Science Technology Education program on the days they are not in world language. This new format will create advanced opportunities for our students in world languages and other subject areas. Students currently in sixth grade will be asked to select their language during spring registration.
Students wishing to pursue Latin studies may continue to do so through online learning with Middlebury Interactive. Middlebury Interactive comes with an instructor that students can access for support. Just as with French and Spanish, students will be able to complete Latin I by the time they enter high school.
