MOVING TO A NEW CAMPUS!
Happy Weekend! As the saying goes, “All things come to those who wait”, and the wait is finally over! We passed inspection and we are moving to our NEW BUILDING! Parents thank you so much for all the patience and trust you have given us; We are truly grateful to have parents like you. Please follow the schedule below for next week’s event itinerary.
Monday-Wednesday February 3rd-5th:
· School is in session regular hours
· Packing Day. Volunteer parents needed during teacher’s planning time to pack boxes from 8am to 3pm. No Volunteers needed on Wednesday
Thursday February 6th:
• School is in session. Half day early dismissal 12.00pm.
· Parent-Teacher conference cancelled.
· Bus cancelled for afternoon.
· Volunteer parents needed at the new building from 1:30pm to 4pm
Friday, February 7th:
· School is Cancelled
· 4-6pm Open House
Parents, if available, please sign the attached form to volunteer to assist us with moving. Depending on what day/s you choose to volunteer, please be sure to provide a form of identification to our front office staff.

Kinder, 2nd-6th Grade NWEA MAP testing will be from January 27th-31st, Monday-Friday. Please make sure students arrive to school on time and get plenty of sleep the night before and a healthy breakfast the morning of. Thank you!
GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Announcement
School of Science and Technology-Spring is now accepting gifted and talented nominations for all SST enrolled students in grades K-6 for the gifted and talented screening process.
If your student is enrolled in the 2019-20 school year and would like to be considered for GT testing, please fill out the nomination form located in the front office or on the school website. Forms must be returned to the front office no later than Feb 7, 2020

District Needs Assessment(DNA) and District Improvement Plan(DIP) Meeting
Dear Parents and Community leaders,
You are cordially invited to attend and participate in our 19-20 DNA & DIP review on the areas of Demographics, Student Achievement, District Culture and Climate, Staff Quality & Recruitment, Curriculum and Instruction, Family & Community Engagement, District Context and Organization, and Technology.
Parents and community members, per Federal and State law, it is required that parents participate in our District Needs Assessments (DNA) and District Improvement Plan (DIP) in order for our schools and district to receive the additional funding for your child's education. We appreciate you and your valued input and time.
