Valor is a gift. Those who have it never know for sure they have it until the test comes.

My son had an outdoor hockey game on Thursday in Evergreen Park. Our team changed in the firehouse next to the outdoor rink and I saw this quote on the wall of the firehouse.

Monday is President's Day - No School

Kindergarten Pre-Registration for District 68

Do you have a student eligible for kindergarten attendance for the 2014-15 school year? If so, mark your calendar for Woodridge School District 68’s kindergarten pre-registration to be held on Wednesday, April 9th from 4:00-7:00pm and Thursday, April 10th from 1:00-6:00pm. You will register at Sipley School. Children must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2014, and the student’s birth certificate must be presented.

At this time, you will complete a registration form; home language survey; and field trips, photographs, and videos permission form. You will also be given physical, dental, and vision examination forms. Physical examinations, dated within one year prior to entrance, by a licensed physician, are necessary for entry into kindergarten. Documentation of all immunizations, with exact dates must be provided. A dental exam by a licensed dentist, as well as a vision examination by a licensed eye doctor, is also required. Proof of the above requirement must be presented before the first day of school. Additional information can be found on the district website (www.woodridge68.org) under >Departments >Health Services.

You will receive via postal mail toward the end of this school year a registration packet with instructions on completing the registration process. Complete registration information will also be posted on the district website.
