PARENTS ON PATROL
Message from Principal Mack
We are now diligently working in our Mid-Year Stampede from November to January for the betterment of our scholars! There are two main goals during this time: reduce discipline and increase scholar achievement aligned to TEKS. Your support is needed in the following areas:
· Support our No Hoodie policy (we understand the weather is cooler) by wearing jacket & hat
· Ensure face-covering for both nose & mouth throughout school day
· Remind your child to walk to the right side of the hallway
· Support Transitions by reminding your child to be seated before tardy bell
· No jeans unless designated incentive day
Effective November 29, 2021 BACKPACK UPDATE
A reminder that after Thanksgiving Break, scholars will be required to utilize a clear or mesh backpack to expedite the safety screening process. If for any reason, there is a concern with meeting the expected deadline, please contact us at: (409) 617 -5825.
· Clear/Mesh backpacks are available at Wal-Mart
NEW SAFETY INITIATIVES:
· Walk through metal detectors on selected days effective week of November 15th
· Partnering with Beaumont PD for additional officers
· Additional security personnel will be added to support monitoring and supervision
· District Partnership with Crime Stoppers
· Parents on Patrol will work to support safety on our campus through monitoring and serving as an additional set of eyes:
o monitoring hallways, restrooms, cafeteria, etc.
o Redirect students
o Alert Administrators to any other situations that may arise.
Thank you for your continued support!
