JLCCS Prize Calendar
Benefitting James L. Collins Catholic School
What is the Prize Calendar?
On behalf of the James L. Collins Catholic School Marketing Committee, we would like to reach out and ask you to partner with us on our annual Prize Calendar fundraiser. Over the last several years, our school has hosted our Prize Calendar fundraiser and it has been incredibly successful. Last year we raised over $30,000 for our students and we would love your support this year!
In January we are reaching out to businesses to solicit thirty fantastic prizes. In February and March, our students will sell prize calendars ($25 each) for a chance to win thirty prizes. Every calendar is in effect a raffle ticket. Then each day in the month of April, we will draw a number and that individual with the corresponding calendar number will win the prize for that day. For our fundraiser to be successful we are looking for overall sponsors of our calendar (similar to table sponsors from our previous galas), as well as daily prizes. We will use your name and/or logo on our marketing materials for our event, including social media and print.
Become an Overall Sponsor
We truly appreciate your assistance to help raise funds for our students. The funds raised will go to assist families by providing tuition assistance, address needs for advances in technology, and create opportunities for our students to become life-long learners engaged in addressing the problems of the future. Our school serves our diverse student body, who are from different ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Serving students in preschool (ages three & four) through eighth grade, JLCCS offers a variety of opportunities to provide for a complete life experience and assist in developing leadership qualities.
Your business/organization can choose to be an overall sponsor through one of these levels:
- Diamond $2,000
- Gold $1,000
- Silver $500
- Bronze $250

More about JLCCS
Your support matters! We have some BIG changes coming for the 2023/2024 school year. Here are some of the ways that we are cultivating educational excellence through Christ!
Religion Curriculum
The Irvine Christian Foundation has graciously sponsored the purchase of materials that will better align with diocesan standards and increase rigor in our religious education instruction.
Cafeteria Remodel
The Catholic Foundation has generously contributed the majority of funds needed to replace the flooring in the elementary hallway, cafeteria, and stage area as well as updating lighting, painting walls and trim, and adding an exterior door.
STEM Lab by Smart Lab
Thanks to a generous donation from Oncor, we will begin implementing STEM activities during Technology class this Spring. These will be taken to greater heights with the Smart Lab model which will incorporate tools such as a 3-D printer, robotics, and more!
Pre-K & Big Playground
Many thanks to the Perry D. Graham Trust and Our Faith…Our Future Capital Campaign who awarded funds that will provide new, safer structures and additional equipment such as musical instruments and a Ga-Ga Pit.
Rosary Walk & Prayer Garden
Mary’s courtyard garden will be refreshed courtesy of the J.N. & Macie Edens Trust to include a walking path guiding those who visit the garden through the Rosary while surrounded by beautiful, peace-inspiring plants and flowers.
