EWRSD Weekly Update
January 6, 2023
To work on their cooperation, flexibility, and patience skills in STEM class, Walter C. Black Elementary School kindergarteners built Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees that had to successfully balance letters and numbers on top. These engineers never gave up!
Ethel McKnight Elementary School second-grade students decorated and designed shoes to support kindness around EMK.
Perry L. Drew Elementary School is getting ready for its first concert. Students have been rehearsing with joy and are ready to take center stage soon. We are looking forward to a great show!
Melvin H. Kreps Middle School staff are so proud of our eighth-graders who made their way to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen to help prepare and serve food. On the bus ride back to school, students reflected on the significance of supporting others. We look forward to our upcoming community outreach opportunities.
The Hightstown High School Winter Instrumental Concert and Choral Concert took place on December 20 and December 21 where the students showcased their performing arts talents. The students did a wonderful job performing an array of music - from classical music and jazz standards to contemporary pieces. Congratulations to all the student performers and their respective music teachers for a job well done!
