JV Girls Basketball Wins Marquette Tournament

Congratulations to the JV Girls Basketball program on winning the Marquette Tournament Championship. The Lady Vikings earned wins over Rosati Kain, Lafayette, and FZW on their way to the tournament championship.

Freshman Girls Basketball Wins FHN Tournament

Congratulations to the freshman girls for their FHN Tournament Championship. The Lady Vikings had convincing wins over St. Charles West, Liberty, and St. Dominic. The freshman teams average margin of victory during the tournament was 36 points.

Berry Scores 1,000th Point

Congratulations to Dani Berry on scoring her 1,000th point. Dani has now moved into 5th all-time in scoring for the Lady Vikings Basketball program. You can catch the Lady Vikings in action on the road versus FZS or in their home opener on Friday as they take on Sullivan.

Varsity Wrestling Takes 2nd At Parkway South Tournament

Coming off a huge win over #2 state ranked Holt earlier in the week our #5 state ranked Vikings took to the mats at the Parkway South Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Vikings finished 2nd behind Lafayette in the tournament. The wrestling program saw several place at the tournament and won 68 out of a possible 84 matches on the day. You can view those results below. Congratulations to Tyler McGhee, Ty Purler, Jack Flynn, Dylan Komperda, and Jack Heese for winning championships at their weight class.

Freshman Wrestling Wins Hazelwood Central Tournament

Congratulations to the freshman wrestling team on their team championship at the very tough Hazelwood Central Tournament on Saturday. The freshman wrestling team finished with four 1st place finishes, two 2nd place, two 3rd place, and two 4th place finishes. The future of Howell Wrestling is looking very bright.

Golden Girls Perform At Lindbergh Invitational

On Saturday, the Golden Girls performed at the Lindbergh Invitational. The GG's finished the day with a 3rd place finish in their Jazz routine and a 2nd place finish in their hip hop routine. Business Entrepreneurship Classes Raise Funds For Charities

Mrs. Power and her Business Entreprenuership classes spent last week competing to develop businesses and trying to earn the most profit. Students developed a business plan and their products that were sold during lunch. Several of the businesses raised money for charities. Over $950 was raised for Siteman Cancer Center, Lymphoma Society, & Wounded Warriors. Congratulations to the great students in Business Entreprenuership and their donation to three great charities.

Girls Swim Starts Season 2-0

The Girls Swim program is off to a great start to the 15-16 season. The Lady Viking swimmers earned a 125-58 win over Pattonville and a tri meet win over St. Charles and Liberty. Girls Swim Progam Volunteers For FedEx Little Wishes

A major component of being involved in an activity, club, or sport at FHHS is giving outreach to others and serving our community. On Saturday morning, the girls swim program volunteered at the Kirkwood Walmart as part of the FedEx "Little Wishes" program. Girls in the program wrapped donated gifts and also donated to the cause as well to help three children receive gifts this season. Congratulations to our girls swim program for not only having success in the pool this winter but for also getting involved in our community to make the lives of others better.

Here is your chance to have your voice in the 2nd Annual - 12 Days of Viking Accomplishments. Below you will find a list of 2015 Francis Howell High School Activities Department accomplishments that were submitted by sponsors and coaches of their respective programs. St. Louis Ambush To Recognize State Champion Soccer; Choir, Golden Girls, & Cheer To Perform

On Saturday, December 12th the St. Louis Ambush will be honoring our Boys Soccer State Championship when they take on the Tacoma Stars at 7:05 p.m.. In addition to honoring our State Champions the choir will be performing the National Anthem and both the Cheer and Golden Girl programs will be performing.
