Overcome Limiting Beliefs
Academic UIL
Attendance Matters. Every Student. Every Day.
100% Accountable
1. Own Your Life – You are the only one who can truly control your thoughts and actions. Listen to others suggestions and advice, but remember that you are responsible for you and you can make your life whatever you want it to be!
2. Overcome Limiting Beliefs – Sometimes when we think about trying new things or doing things we haven’t done before, we let fears or excuses keep us from taking action. These are what we call limiting beliefs. Work on believing in yourself, taking that chance, and overcome those beliefs so you can do amazing things!
3. Focus Your Energy – We get 24 hours every day! Of course, we have to sleep some of that time, but spend the rest of your day doing the things that give you energy and getting the most out of the moments you have. Aim to go to bed each night feeling good about yourself and what you accomplished.
4. Grow Through Life – There is a difference between going through life and growing through life. If you just GO through life you don’t use what you have learned in the past to help you in the future. When you GROW through life you are learning from your experiences and using that knowledge to become even better!
