Happy May Day!

May is finally here. Let's pray that water weather is on the way.

Remember: Gertens spring plants will be delivered on May 10th and pick-up is from 1-5 pm in the parking lot behind the school.

We say good-bye to Mrs. Mary Lundberg

Mary Lundberg has decided to retire after 21 years of teaching preschool at Sacred Heart Catholic School. Mary has been with us in preschool since Day 1 and helped us design an excellent program for our young students. Over the years, she has seen many changes to DHS licensing and curriculum.

Mary is going to spend her time at her cabin, traveling, and relaxing with her grandchildren. Thank you for your many years of teaching at SHCS. We will miss you!

Families may begin turning in the list of volunteer hours they have participated in this year. You may use the form attached at the bottom of the newsletter or type of a list and send it our way.

Students in grades 6-8 may also start turning in their service hours. Forms are located in their homeroom. Parents must sign this form acknowledging the service hours.
