Hello Wolf Pack Families,

What a great start to the school year! We love having students back in the building. This week we started each day in our advisory classes, also known as PACK Time. This allowed PACKs to get to know each other and PACK leaders were able to go over PACK Expectation, answer questions, help with lockers, etc.

Next week, students will begin each day going to 1st period and following a normal schedule. We will have a PACK time each Thursday.

This Week:

  • Cross Country Parent Meeting on Monday, Sept. 12th at 4:30 pm.
  • Leo's will take individual school pictures on Thursday, Sept. 15th during the school day.
  • Back-to-School Night is Thursday, Sept. 15th at 6:00 pm.

CVSD Staff Emails

Many CVSD emails are bouncing back or blocked as undeliverable. If you have reached out to staff via email and not heard back, it is likely that the response email did not go through.

Thank you for your patience as technology works to resolve the issue.

Back-to-School Night

Parents, you are invited to attend our Back-to-School night this Thursday, Sept. 15th, at 6:00 pm. You will begin by going to your child's Advisory Classroom/PACK Time class. The PACK Teacher provide a copy of your student's schedule. You'll rotate through your child's schedule getting to meet each teacher and hear important information.

This is a great opportunity to support your middle schooler and our staff!

Hope to see you there!

Individual School Pictures

Leo's will take individual school pictures on Thursday, Sept. 15th.

Picture envelopes are being sent home next week in student packets.

The code to order online is: FAL220906

Our 1st Assembly

Our 1st Assembly & Safety Drill

Today we help our first assembly in the gym to introduce staff, explain Wolf Bucks, and clarify important school-wide PACK Expectations. Students did a great job of listening and responding respectfully.

Following the assembly, we returned to PACK and completed an evacuation, or fire, drill. Again, students responded quickly and safely. Well done!

Do you know a business who would be interested in partnering with Selkirk?

We are looking for 3-8 companies who want to partner with us. We would love to begin by printing your business logo on the back of Selkirk T-shirts this fall.

Please contact Jen Hurst if interested.

PE Uniforms will be handed out next week.

In case you haven't had a chance yet...

T-shirts for PE are available through this "In-Touch" Link for $7. You will need your student's ID # to log in. That is the same # they have used since enrolling in CVSD (it's used for their Chromebook log in, library books, lunch accounts and it is the beginning of their cvsd356 email address.) If you need any assistance navigating In-Touch, please call our school office.

Note: "In-Touch" is the process to pay for the t-shirt. Your student will be able to say which size and pick up the t-shirt from their PE teacher (during the first full week of school.) If you prefer to stop into the office to pay for a shirt, you can. It will still be delivered to the student during class.
