Steve/Maria Grodrian & Morgan
This is also the final day for our food drive. Special friends and other adults are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to school that day for the offering. The food will go to St. Marks and St Joe Hessen Cassell food banks as has been the case in the past.
One change coming this year is that when you send in your lunch order (for the adults. Kids will be as normal), you will be issued a lunch ticket that you will pick up after chapel that morning. You will need to show that ticket to get your lunch.
The deadline to send in lunch orders for the adults will be Friday, November 9th. in the morning. Lunch tickets will not be available after that date. That doesn't mean other special friends can't come, it just means they will not be able to eat lunch unless it was ordered ahead of time. The cost for the adult lunches will be added to the student's lunch account. Please do not send any cash or checks in to pay for adult lunches.
A flyer with more details is attached right below this article. Please print, fill out and return ASAP.

Hitting Clinic for SJE Students
This instructional hitting clinic is available for SJE students grades 4-8 (boys and girls). If there is enough interest for students K-3 another clinic time will be added. This camp will teach the fundamentals of baseball and softball hitting to teach players how to gain maximum power and velocity with their swing. We will educate hitters on the proper kinetic sequencing of the swing along with several drills that can be done at home to reinforce the proper sequencing learned at camp.
Proceeds from this camp will be shared 50/50 with the SJE athletic department. Maximum of 10 athletes per session.
When: November 4th 1:30-3:00 Where: St. John Gym Cost: $30 (Make checks payable to SJE)
