What is a Lib Cafe?
A combination of an Unconference and an Educafe - Sharing the wonderful knowledge and experience of many school librarians at all stages of professional development.
What is an Un-conference?
An event where the agenda is set by those who attend. Do you have a burning question or expertise to share? It's fun and informative at the same time.
What is an Educafe?
EduCafe is a place for educators to gather instructional resources.

What is the format of the day?
We'll then have a Smackdown - if you choose to share something that works for you in your library you'll have the opportunity to speak to this briefly. A Google slideshow will be shared with attendees, please add a slide about anything you would like to share along with your name & school. You can fill it in if you wish to take part AND/OR gather wonderful hints and tips.
Group discussions will follow interspersed with morning tea. We'll get to choose which discussions we'd like to join on the day.
Finish 12-12.30pm.
All in all a relaxing Cafe style sharing/receiving of information

HOW TO GET THERE:
Market Road exit from the highway
Coming from the north, cross back over the highway and turn right at first set of lights (Great South Road) and then left at the next set of lights (Erin Street).
Coming from the South, turn left at Market Road and then right into Gt Sth Road and left into Erin Street.
You will see the entrance to Dilworth School on your left – drive in, past the chapel on your right.
PARKING ON SITE:
The driveway has parking all along it and there is a large circular bit at the end. Park around the circular drive as it will be closest to the library, which is to the left of the main building down a sloping path.
Onsite directions to the event will be signposted
