A Quick Word...
Well, had brush the dust off the staff SMORE, but it's back and we are doing AMAZING work in 2019! I find myself in the same place as I was last time I wrote on here...I can't speak highly enough of the work each of you are doing! Our MOY data looked great and we are performing at MOY where we were performing at EOY last year. Hats off to all of you!
But, we are not finished yet! We have to stay the course and keep working the plan.
Continue to set goals and monitor individual progress.
Continue to hold your students accountable and set high expectations.
Continue to celebrate success with your students and allow them to feel greatness.
I know we can reach and even surpass the goals we set for our self as a campus if we continue with the work you all have been doing. Please know I am here to learn, brainstorm, and grow with you. We are in this together. Keep up the great work, I am very proud of each of you.
I hope you know you're capable and brave and significant, every day.
You got this,
Kelsey

Attendance
Our attendance has been VERY LOW in the past week! I challenge your grade level to come up with an incentive for kids to get here! Feel free to throw me in there if needed:)
Remember to encourage healthy habits with your class. Wash your hands, cover your coughs, and do not share food/drinks.
Be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and SAFE
Help hold kids accountable to this. We are a family and all need to help each other. If you see a kid not following expectations, take it as a teaching moment to remind them about the expectations. Thank you for your help with this!
Some Safety Reminders:
- do not prop open any exterior doors
- keep your classroom doors locked, if someone needs in, they have a key
- if you see someone in the building without a badge, report to office/walk them to office
- do not open the door to someone you do not recognize/train kids on this too
- review lock down location/procedures with your classroom
