Assessment News

FSA/EOC Testing

We did it!!!!! All major testing has been completed. A huge thank you to everyone for getting through this challenging time.

Makeup Info

We still have a lot of FSA/EOC makeups to complete. Please be patient as students will be pulled out of classroom as makeup rooms are available, even during final exams. The complete makeup schedule will be communicated out via email this weekend and posted in the FSA/EOC Spring 2019 folder in SharePoint under Assessments.

Final Exam Week 5/20-5/24

Final Exam week is now here! Check out the District Finals folder under Assessments in SharePoint for lots of information including the Bell Schedule for testing days.

  • Early testing for approved absences will begin on Mon 5/20.
  • Regularly scheduled testing will take place Tue-Thu.
  • Make-up testing will take place on Wed and Thu after regularly scheduled testing periods in the Media Center. Senior exams must be completed by Friday, 5/24. Gr 6-11 makeups will continue through 5/28.

Courses that do NOT have an EOC, FSA, or AP exam associated with it will give either a District Final (most classes) or a Principal Approved Assessment. Only DFs that have to be administered on a computer will use the laptop carts. The remaining DFs will be paper-based testing. The stacks of District Final exams in the picture below are two columns deep!

District Finals materials will be checked out from the Assessment Office each morning for that day's testing and materials should be returned by the end of the day. Completed exams will be scanned/graded as they are received and scores will be available within 15 minutes of being scanned.

If you are still not sure what end of the year assessment your course should be giving, please email Mr. Copeland ASAP.
