Let's finish strong, Rocks!
As we enter the month of November, which we have themed "Gratitude Month," let us be intentional about embracing a spirit of thankfulness. Sometimes we don't slow down enough in our day to day grind to say thank you or send that note of gratitude or appreciation. Let's make a point this month to maximize those moments. Let's let those in our circles know how much we appreciate them.
Make sure to read below for more celebrations and event information. It's great to be a Rock!
New Information This Week
WHS Theatre Productions
This past Friday and Saturday, 46 thespians, techies and even some students who had never before been in a theatre production, got together and turned our WHS Auditorium into a Haunted Stage! This annual event was enjoyed by 334 patrons over two nights. Spooky scenes included a Gruesome Kitchen, A Haunted Hospital, and a Ghoulish Graveyard. This is the 6th year WHS Thespians have hosted the very successful Haunted Stage.
Up next for our theatre production students is the musical Wizard of Oz. They invite YOU to follow them down the Yellow Brick Road as they venture from WHS to the Merry Old Land of Oz. This year’s production of Wizard of Oz involves over 125 students from not only WHS but includes 4th graders from every WWS Elementary School. They will sore to new heights as they take you on Dorothy’s classic journey to find that there is no place like home. So have some brains and get your tickets today at whsperformingarts.com. We are sure your heart will be overflowing to watch these courageous students give it their all.

WHS Student Parking Permits are Sold Out
All available 2021-22 Student Parking Permits have been issued for the year. A waitlist has been created. To get on the waitlist, students should complete the online registration form AND bring their valid driver's license (learner’s permit not accepted) to show Mrs. Flickinger at the Information Desk in the Main Office.
Students on the waitlist will be notified on a first come first serve basis as spots become available. Please note that filling out the online registration alone DOES NOT place a student on the waiting list. Also, students with learner’s permits are not eligible for the waitlist - a valid driver’s license is required.
For more details, be sure to see the information on our website regarding Parking Permits. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Harris at harrisd@wws.k12.in.us or Mr. Scanlon at scanlonk@wws.k12.in.us.
