Do you know the DNA of your students?
Ask your students what their DNA is sometime... D for dreams... N for needs... A for abilities. What a great way to get to know your kids even more and continue to build those relationships!
Coverage vs. dispersal results of survey
58.1% (25 responses) in favor of coverage
41.9% (18 responses) in favor of dispersal
(Several asked if it was possible to get a permanent sub in the building, and it is not. We do not have the money. Also, some asked who was responsible for the changes in sub pay, and that's at the state level not the district level).
iReady Cafe/Sporting Complex
Our students in the Academic Enhancement classes have been working extremely hard to improve their reading/math skills. Therefore, students have been using iReady and earning iReady cash in their Academic Enhancement classes. Students have been earning iReady cash by PASSING iReady lessons, time on task, & passing 3 consecutive lessons. Students will participate in the iReady Café/ Sporting Complex on Wednesday, Oct. 25th & Oct. 26th during their Academic Enhancement class time! The iReady Café/ Sporting Complex will take place in the gym lobby & outdoor fields area! During this time, students can pay to have tech time, sport’s time, and eat snacks/drinks. This will not affect your classes in any way, this is just an FYI in case your students mention it!!
MTSS Beliefs Survey
The MTSS Beliefs Survey has been sent to all staff. The survey window is the rest of the month of October. Please take a few moments to complete the survey. It is anonymous, but we need to have 100% response rate for our school. If we get 100% response rate, we will have some surprise JEANS PASSES on some special Mondays! The district encourages us to host a meeting for completion, but we are hoping you can complete this on your own in your own time so we don't need to schedule another meeting, as we know there's a lot going on right now. Please be on the look out for the email.

Students who are BALANCED
During the Month of October, any student who exemplifies being BALANCED should receive an Inquiry Baseball/ Trading Card from a staff member. When you give the trading card to a balanced individual, please complete the back of the card and have the student pose with the card & take a “selfie”. The students get to keep this card as a reminder of their good work.
