Picture the Preamble
By Brady Bartz
Provide for the Common Defense
To provide for the common defense means to give the federal government the power to maintain armed forces to protect America and the American people. The picture is connected to the preamble principle because the armed forces protect America and its people.
Form a More Perfect Union
To form a more perfect union means that the states need to work together to form and operate as one country. This image is connected to that principle because the image shows people working together to form as one.
Establish Justice
To establish justice means to provide a system of courts to protect people's rights and to hear their cases. I chose this image to represent that principle because a judge uses this and the judge is the person in charge of that court.
Insure Domestic Tranquility
To insure domestic tranquility means to keep peace among the people. I choose this image because riot officers keep peace among the people, so if people start getting in a huge fight, they break it up.
Promote the General Welfare
To promote the general welfare means to promote the well-being of the people. I choose this picture of represent that principle because the lady was giving food to a homeless man living on the street which means that she was promoting the well-being of the people.
Secure the Blessings of Liberty
To secure the blessings of liberty means that no American's basic rights can be taken away from them. This image represents this principle because it shows that no American's basic rights can be taken away from them on the stone.
