What's new at École OLPH?
May 8 to May 12, 2017
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Changes in our administration office for 2017-2018
Some of you have probably already heard of the upcoming changes in our administrative team this fall. A great opportunity for professional development has come my way recently, and I have accepted a secondment position with Alberta Education in the French Language Arts department starting in September for the next one or two school years.
In my absence, M. Morin will become our new Principal and M. Marc St.Jean will in turn take over the role of Assistant-Principal for M.Morin. It has been a pleasure and a blessing working as a school administrator with you, the staff from École Our Lady of Perpetual Help and of Elk Island Catholic School for the past five years. Our school will undoubtedly be in great hands with M. Morin and M. St.Jean.
Furthermore, Mme Manon will be retiring at the end of June and will be replaced by Mme Annette Winland. Please join me in congratulating M. Morin and M. St.Jean for their new appointments, Mme Manon in her retirement, and in welcoming Mme Annette Winland to our school.
