Busy Badger
December 2018
Re-cap of November
We continued to celebrate the season of fall by reading related books, discovering seasonal foods, and making Thanksgiving decorations. Thank you for all of the donated pumpkins! The children participated in themes such as "All about Me and My Family," which we will continue to do so moving forward through the end of the year. Thank you again, to our friend Ms. Debbie from the Menomonie Public Library who came in to read to the children.
Wow! Miriam & Anne.
Be proud Azalea!
Calvin and friends loving the marble chute game!
What to expect in December:
The month of December we welcome winter therefore we will be doing traditional winter and Christmas art, sensory, and stories. If you have any ideas you wish to share as traditions you and your family do please feel free to share with us.
***Although the 4K classes will have their Christmas party the day before ours, please note that here in the Busy Badger classroom we are going to have our Christmas party on Friday, December 21st from 9-10 AM. Feel free to stop in to say hello and, or join large group time at 10 AM followed by outdoor free time! Bring your "Big 5" as the children do: Snow pants, boots, jacket, hats, and mittens. I understand that you may have made arrangements to join Ms. Jana during the 4K celebration; it gets tricky to figure out how to break those visit times up. My recommendation to is to follow 4K times. You always have an Open Invitation into our Busy Badger classroom anytime :) Here's looking to winter, the holiday, and soon-to-be New Year!
***We welcome Brody, Cora, and Grant, and perhaps others, to our classroom this month!
