Hibberd Family Newsletter

March 2023

Hibberd Families and Friends,

We have so much coming up as the end of the school year approaches. There are only 11 weeks of school left! Info on events, concerts, graduations, trips, etc. will be coming home in the coming weeks.

Please watch for RCS communications to come through ParentSquare from this point forward. You can download the app and make an account if you'd like to receive notifications about your child(ren). You only need one account and you can link all of your RCS students in one place for ease. This is great for messaging staff (think Dojo if you've used it).

If you prefer not to download the app, you will still receive text messages and emails with information like normal!

As always, please email or call with anything you need,

Cassie Laudermilk

Principal and District High Ability Coordinator

Students at Hibberd often need resources when developing presentations on their chosen topics.

If you, a family member, or family friend are considered to be an "expert" in a field, profession, military experience, or hobby, please consider filling out or forwarding this survey to be added to our list.

For example, Mrs. Laudermilk's husband is a baseball fanatic and could be a resource for a student who is doing a presentation on baseball statistics/analysis. No topic is too narrow or too broad to be valuable to our students.

We are creating a bank of resources for students to talk with (email, phone call, etc.) as needed to assist with their presentations. Your information will not be shared outside of the building and will only be used on an individual basis to pair a student with an "expert." This is completely voluntary.

Hibberd KPTO

Please consider joining the KPTO! We meet one Tuesday each month and would like representation from all 3 of our programs. The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 14th from 6:30-7:15.
