Halo Highlight- Finish Strong!
Congratulations to our students, who united to raise nearly $1,400 during our Saints March to Give- Week of Giving. We will announce which grade level donated the most money to The Saints Fund on Friday morning and will win an upcoming lunchtime pizza party as a reward for their generosity.
Now we want to finish our inaugural Week of Giving strong! After eclipsing $25,000 at our Phone-a-Thon Monday and Tuesday, we have received another $10,000 in matching dollars. Please continue to march with us so your gift to The Saints Fund will be matched dollar for dollar through tomorrow! Click here to donate online, or call our Advancement Office at 494-0724.

ACADEMIC UPDATES
Important AP Exam Reminder; Aspire Testing Next Week
- Students taking any AP courses must attend an AP exam pre-administration session on Wednesday, April 17. For your convenience, we are offering two sessions, one before school at 7 a.m. and one following dismissal at 2:50 p.m. Each session should last 45 minutes to an hour. Students must attend one pre-administration session prior to taking their AP exams; otherwise, you will delay the exam for all students on the official exam day. Please have your AP number and student ID at the session. Thank you for your cooperation.
- ASPIRE testing is Monday and Tuesday for all freshmen and sophomores. All students and parents should check their email from Wednesday for important details.
The next ACT testing date is June 8. Please note the registration deadline of May 3.

Reminder: Sweethearts Tryouts Start Monday
Around Saints Athletics
Congratulations to the Saints baseball team on their current three-game winning streak. The Saints have beaten Grand Lake (7-1), Glenmora (8-7) and Washington-Marion (11-1) in the past week. The Glenmora win was the 100th at St. Louis Catholic for head coach John Michael Collins. Congrats, Coach!
Congratulations as well to the boys and girls tennis teams on their wins over Barbe on Wednesday. Both squads remain undefeated on the season!
Lady Saints basketball coach Tony Johnson was named District 4-3A Coach of the Year this week, and senior guard Alexandria Goodly earned District 4-3A MVP. Click here to see the full list of St. Louis Catholic's postseason honors.
Volleyball Tryouts May 7-9; Tryout Clinics Available for $15
Tryouts for the 2019-2020 St. Louis Catholic volleyball team will be May 7-9 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in Krajicek Gym. Coach Elizabeth Thompson and the staff will offer tryout clinics from 3:30-5 p.m. on April 29, April 30 and May 1 for prospective players to meet the coaches, see the facilities and prepare for the tryouts. Please note – the tryout clinics cost $15 per session and do not guarantee a spot on next year’s team.

7 FBLA Members Qualify for Nationals
Members who qualified for nationals are Katie McCall (business communication), Peter Obluda (computer problem solving & cyber security), Juliana Broussard (help desk), Will Gage (insurance and risk management), Landon Cooley, Celia Villaume and Emma Faul (management decision making), and Caroline Obluda (organizational leadership).
NEW PARENTS/ADMISSIONS
Reminder: High School Placement Test Makeup Date Saturday
All incoming freshman students who have applied to St. Louis Catholic must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) this Saturday, March 30, if they missed the February date. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with testing at 8 a.m. in the SLCHS Cafeteria. Please bring two #2 pencils. If your student has an approved Service Plan/IEP or IAP, there will be a special registration table for those with approved extended time. Calculators may not be be used on any part of the test.

St. Louis Catholic Students Starring in LABT Spring Gala
Lake Area Ballet Theatre’s Spring Gala showcase will feature “Swan Lake, Act II” staged by Soili Arvola. The Gala will celebrate the talent of more than 50 local dancers, including several St. Louis Catholic students: Hannah Broussard, Soleigha Mouton, Olivia Hubbard, Abbie Lechtenberg, Eden Moreno, Caroline Broussard, Alice Fang, Savanna Goss and Grace Green.
The performance is Saturday, March 30, at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center’s Rosa Hart Theatre. Tickets are available at the Civic Center Box Office (491-1257), at ticketmaster.com or at lakeareaballettheatre.com.
