OCEAN High School Student of the Week
Each week an OCEAN high school student will be featured in the PT Leader. Students can be nominated by staff, families or students. Email Sarah to make a nomination.
OCEAN student of the week is Senior Salvera Deane. She is a focused and diligent student in all of her classes. She serves as a teaching assistant for the culinary arts class. She is a strong leader for other students showing kindness in helping others. Salvera has attended OCEAN as both an elementary and high school student. While maintaining her grades she also holds a job at a local restaurant. She plans to explore careers in the culinary industry after graduation.
From last week: OCEAN student of the week is 9th grader Eric Gulin. In his first months of high school, Eric has been a true leader in the classroom. He often leads by example. He frequently asks really good questions in class, and he participates fully in discussions and class activities. He regularly attends Friday study hall, and he works hard to complete his assignments. He is very articulate in his thoughts, and he is great at honoring other people's opinions. He is a true asset to our high school community.
