Since forming in 2000, the sound of 4 Girls 4 Harps has been heard in numerous venues and festivals in the UK and across Europe. They have performed live on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night, at the 9th World Harp Congress in Dublin, and were part of the opening celebrations of London’s new multi-concert hall complex, King’s Place. Their most recent CD, ‘Fireworks and Fables’, has been regularly broadcast on Classic FM and Australian radio station ABC and also heard on BBC Radios 2 and 3. Admirers of their music include the critic and presenter Paul Gambaccini and composer Paul Patterson.
Performing to sell-out audiences, 4 Girls 4 Harps offer varied programmes of original and arranged music for harp quartet including music by Handel, Shostakovich, Ravel, and Piazzolla, and British composers Paul Patterson and Edward Longstaff.
