RMS Night!

Richards Middle School would like to invite you and your child to Richards Middle School on the evening of Tuesday, March 7, at 6:00 p.m.

Map of RMS

The purpose of this evening is to introduce you and your child to their future school, the programs offered, and the selective classes available for them. We will also provide our students with a tour of our building’s selective classrooms.

The program will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Parents are to report to the RMS gym, where they will meet the administrators, counselors, and academic department heads. Students will gather in the cafeteria, where their tour will begin.

Our goal is to provide you and your child with a good understanding of our vision and mission at Richards Middle School.

Green Team Reminders!

  • Changing to LED bulbs means reducing energy use by 90%.

  • Try changing out 1 light bulb a week until you have replaced them all with LED lights and watch your energy bill go down!

Canvas Parent Log in

Please click here for detailed instructions on how to create your parent account. You will need to use a web browser, and your student will need to be logged in to their Canvas account on a separate device in order to generate the required pairing code.

Parking Lot

* Please remember that the drop-off lane is not for parked cars.

* The bus loop is for buses only!

* If you want to walk your child to their door, please park in a parking spot and walk up together.

Thank you for helping to create a safe parking lot for all our Eagles!

Student-Led Conferences

Our teachers are looking forward to meeting with some of you during our March Student-Led Conferences. Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, March 9th from 1:00-3:30 and from 4:30-7:30.

These conferences are by request only.

Classroom teachers sent out requests to individual parents on Tuesday, February 28th if a conference is needed. If you did not receive a request, you have a chance to request one by reaching out to the teacher directly or by using the links below.

Since only some of our students will have conferences, ALL of our students will be bringing home materials to hold student-led conferences with you at home. Report cards will be sent home Wednesday, March 8th.

Conference Sign-up Links!

Conferences are by request. However, if your child's teacher did not request one and you would like to meet to discuss you child's progress, you may sign-up by selecting a link below.
