Disney Digest

Volume 1 Issue 11

Greetings, Disney families!

It is hard to believe that the Thanksgiving holiday is already upon us! This is a wonderful time of year to give thanks for the many blessings we have in our lives. We have much to be thankful for here at Disney! Through our continued diligence with masking, increased cleaning procedures, hand-washing, and social distancing, we have kept our Disney staff and students safe and healthy in the last few months. I am thankful to each and every one of our families for your diligence in this effort at home, as well.

In light of the upcoming holiday this week, many of our families will be celebrating this with loved ones. If attending family gatherings or traveling this holiday, please exercise extra caution and monitor your child daily for any COVID-19 symptoms upon our return to school. Working together, we can continue to keep students in school and learning in the weeks and months to come.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control has some outstanding resources to support limiting the risk of spreading coronavirus this holiday season, and ideas to . I invite you to review these documents below.

This Thanksgiving, I am especially thankful to be part of a community that values education and supports our school. Each of our families is an integral part of this school community, and I thank you for the time and energy you give to your children and our staff. What an amazing school community we have here at Disney!

I wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Carol Furman
