ALL-STAFF EVENT AUGUST 12 AT HARPER COLLEGE
All staff scheduled to work on this date are required to attend. Staff members not scheduled to work Aug. 12 are invited to attend on a voluntary basis.
Parking and Location
Our event will take place in Harper College Building M (Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center), with parking available in Parking Lot 1, which is located directly in front of the Building M entrance.
Enter the Harper College campus off of Algonquin Road to easily access Building M. Once you enter from Algonquin Road, turn left at the first turn and you will see Parking Lot 1 and Building M. The building has a "Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center" sign on the top corner. There is also a "Northwest Community Healthcare" sign on the front of the building. There will be signage directing you to the District 15 event in the gymnasium once you enter the main doors of Building M.

Our event will begin promptly at 8 a.m. Please allow enough time to navigate the Harper College campus, park and get settled in the gymnasium prior to 8 a.m.
We trust it will be an inspiring and meaningful morning that will set the tone for the 2019-20 school year. We look forward to seeing you there!
Certified staff laptop exchange
The first two days are voluntary summer distribution dates and pickup locations are stationed at the four junior high schools. The third date is during Teacher Institute Day, Tuesday, August 13, from 8:00-8:30am in your building’s LRC. Click HERE for the original communication and the schedule to determine your pickup location on August 7th and August 8th.
Your HP 640 Probook laptop will also be collected at this time - please make sure files are backed-up from your current laptop before you arrive. Here is a guide to backup your files and information regarding the syncing of bookmarks if you don’t already Log in to Google Chrome.
Please note: You will need to login to your new laptop for the very first time while you are in-district before you will be able to use it outside of the district. School building printers will also need to be installed while in-district and can be done anytime. Here is a guide to Installing a Network Printer and a guide to Setting Your Default Printer. The new office and workroom printers/copiers will already be installed.
New teachers to the district received their staff laptops at the New Teacher Orientation (NTO) on July 31st.

2019-20 Schedules and Information
Please visit this link for easy access to information for the 2019-20 school year. You will find folders for the accounts payable schedule, calendars, field trip information, gifted sites and information, instructional time allocations, mileage forms, parent orientation/open house schedules, payroll schedule, progress report schedules, school time allocations, and substitute information. More information may be added as we get closer to the start of the school year.

New Building Copier Machines
All buildings received new copier machines over the summer. Building secretarial staff received training on the new machines at their meeting on July 30. Additionally, a video explaining how to use the machines is available to view online.
