What Will We Be Learning This Week??
Reading: We will continue to work with nonfiction book clubs to review context clues and how they help us understand the text.
Writing: We will continue using the writing process to write whichever genre we choose.
Phonics/Grammar: We will review and practice with different parts of speech. We will practice with inflectional endings.
Math: We will partition objects into equal parts and name the parts, including halves, fourths, and eighths.
Social Studies: We will explain the roles of producers and consumers in the production of goods and services through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Science: We will identify the parts of a variety of animals and identify and describe the purposes they serve.
Important Dates:
- April 20th - VIRTUAL DAY because 4th grade will be STAAR testing!
- April 22nd - Earth Day!
- April 24th - Earth Fest (Coppell Nature Park 11:00 to 1:00)
