Officer Training Workshop
Join us Wednesday May 24 at Franklin High School from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for our annual Officer Training Workshop. Learn the ins and outs of your new role - or get more in depth training if you're a returning officer. There is always something new to learn. This is also a great way to network and share ideas.
Dinner will be provided. PEP points will be awarded. This is something you DON'T want to miss!
We do need to know how many people to expect. Please register online by filling out the following google form:
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE AT THE PTSA COUNCIL LEVEL?
Serving on the Executive Board requires good communication and organizational skills, a willingness to coordinate the business and activities of the association, cooperation with all members, the ability to offer leadership services when called upon, and the desire to make the schools a welcoming place where all students may enjoy the benefits of PTA/PTSA.
Committee Members may serve at the Council level without being voted on as formal members. This is a good way to try out Council and become familiar with our work.
Nominations season is upon us! If you would like to apply for a position on Council, you can find an application on our website, under the "Resources" tab. Scroll down to "Other forms and documents"
(Annual) Staff Appreciation Contest coming up!
We have one more PTSA Council sponsored contest for the year, one that has been well received in the past: The Staff Appreciation Contest!!
We are always so impressed with your Staff Appreciation events that we are going to award a Gift Card ($100) to the Unit that has been declared the winner.
The rules/details are:
Email/message Kellie Dummer - ONE photo that you think best represents your Staff Appreciation event by SUNDAY (May 21st) You can include a short description. (Collage photos accepted.)
Kellie will post a series of photos on the Livonia PTSA Council Facebook page Monday, May 22nd. The photo with the most LIKES by Friday, May 26 at noon will be declared the winner. It's that simple (hopefully!) You are all encouraged to share, tag and like the post! If anyone has any questions, please let Kellie know. Good luck (and THANK YOU!)
