CG EdCamp Saturday, April 15th
Our fall EdCamp was such a success, we are offering a spring one! It will take place Saturday, April 15 from 8:30-12. Click here to learn more about what an EdCamp is and to sign up!
K-2 Teachers, Want to Pilot a Phone with your Student iPads?
The first 5 teachers to schedule a time for me to come to their classrooms to teach Book Creator basics or Book Creator comics will receive one to try with their students! Reduce background noise so students can make successful projects while working at the same time!
Keeping In Touch with Students over Breaks
I just wanted to highlight a cool idea from Mrs. Tish DeHaven, first grade teacher at Maple Grove Elementary. She uses the app Homeroom to share photos with parents. Over Spring Break, she opened up Homeroom so parents could post pictures of their students and what they were doing over break. She also posted daily riddles and jokes. As a parent, it was awesome because it made my daughter ready to go back when break was over...she was actually the first kid awake in my house on Monday:). Great idea, Tish!
