Student monitoring begins when doors open at 8:25 AM. Cafeteria doors will open at 8:20 for students who choose to eat breakfast.

Engineering Enrichment
Mrs. Peterson’s engineering enrichment designed a wonderful mini golf course with themes for each hole. Not just a putt putt course, though, we play by driving speed robots through!
Inclement Weather Scenarios
There are three potential winter-weather scenarios in our district: a closure, two-hour delay, and early dismissal. In the case of any of these scenarios, we will send a message through Infinite Campus, as well as post on the district’s website and Facebook page as soon as possible. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date through the Infinite Campus app or website. If you don’t have an Infinite Campus account, visit our Parent Applications Dashboard page for a how-to guide or contact the front office. LEARN MORE
Board of Education Approves Boundary Changes
The Board of Education voted to approve new elementary and middle school boundaries at its November 13 regular meeting. A revised boundary map can be found at https://bit.ly/3qTQJjH. The impact of the changes includes:
Elementary School Students — The new boundary schools for elementary students will take effect for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Students entering second grade at Tozer Primary School and fifth grade at all schools in 2024 - 2025 will have the option to remain at their current school, although transportation will not be provided. Middle School Students — The new boundary schools for middle school students will take effect for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Students entering eighth grade in 2025 - 2026 will have the option to remain at their current school, although transportation will not be provided. High School Students — Boundaries for high school students remain unchanged.
All elementary school families will receive a message at the end of November notifying them of their new boundary school. If families desire to attend a school that is not their assigned boundary school, a Choice Enrollment application will be needed, including those entering second grade at Tozer Primary School and fifth grade at all schools. If your student has been previously accepted to a school via Choice Enrollment, their acceptance will be honored through the remainder of their year(s) at that level (i.e., elementary, middle, or high), and you do not need to re-apply. VOLUNTEER COACHING INFORMATION
There are a few steps to volunteering as a Coach at WMS. The first step is to speak with the Head Coach of the sport you want to participate in. When that coach approves you, he or she will send a note to Mr. Cox, our Athletic Director, informing him of the potential volunteer, and that the coach has met the potential volunteer and has a plan for that volunteer to help our program. The potential volunteer will then need to come see Mr. Cox to get a Volunteer Coaching form. You will need that form in order to complete an application to volunteer on our RAPTOR system. Once you have the form, go to RAPTOR and fill out the volunteer application. When you are approved, you will be in the system and are then able to work with our athletes.
Please call Mr. Cox if you have any questions, or need help working through the process, at (970) 686-8219.
