Week 8, Term 3, Friday 17 September

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Kia ora whanau

We've had a few wet days at school this week but the children's behaviour has remained excellent; thanks children, I'm very proud of you!

Thanks parents for your cooperation during Covid alert level 2, helping us to maintain safety guidelines at school.

A reminder that we ask parents not to enter the school grounds to drop off/collect children. Children need to be dropped off/collected from outside the school gates.

Only parents of year 1 children who need to do so should enter the school grounds. They must wear masks and maintain physical distancing from others. They must scan the Covid QR Code and sign in using the school app or by paper in the office.

Have a lovely weekend.

Nga mihi,

Steve

Tree Planting for Mrs Gardiner

Our ceremony for Mrs Gardiner was really lovely and gave us the opportunity for us to say goodbye to her.

We planted a tree to remember Mrs Gardiner and played some of her favourite songs.

When we are back at level 1 we welcome you to come to school and see Judie's tree.

Term 3 Miniball

We are refunding mini ball fees to parents who have already paid for term three. The refund will be made to your child's school account. Should you wish to receive the money directly, please contact the office.

The food that we have been receiving has been delicious! Check out the photos below:

Reporting Absences and Lateness to School

Please, please, please, pretty please: let the office know if your child is going to be absent from school and give us the reason why before 9am.

If we don't hear from you we need to contact you ourselves to ensure your child is safe. This is a very time consuming exercise. Thanks!
