Congratulations to Mrs. Kelly Herring, 2nd Grade teacher, who was chosen as New Providence's Teacher of the Year. We also want to congratulate Mrs. Allison Blewett, Mrs. Kelly Ingram, Mrs. Erica Millwood and Mrs. Emilie Burwick who were our other TOY finalists.

Read Your Way to the Big Game kicks off at NPE next week! Students should read 6 books by November 10th and then fill out this form online ( to enter your child's name in the drawing for a chance to win tickets to the Clemson/South Carolina Football Game. Fall Festival is Coming

2017 Fall Festival

Friday, October 27th 5pm-8pm

Join us for a night of FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY at our school-wide event! Wristbands are on sale NOW! Return the attached form to your child’s teacher to pre-order your family’s wristbands (needed for ages 5 and up) by Friday, October 20th.Return money and order form to your oldest child’s teacher by this date. Pre-paid wristbands will not come home with your student –you will pick them up at the door the night of the event.

  • Only students in 2nd - 5th grade receive letter grades. Kindergarten and 1st grade students receive standards base checklist reports. First nine week progress reports go home on Tuesday, October 31st.
  • As a district, schools are no longer sending paper copies of interims home.
  • Parents can have access to student’s grades online through Power School using an access code. Access codes are the same as last year. If you are new or need an access code, contact our school office at 821-3300
