ALA Colorado Girls State is a week-long program designed for young women who have completed their junior year of high school and are passionate about patriotism and female empowerment. Henry Clay High School Student Senate - Henry Clay Center

The High School Student Congress is an immersive high school summer program for students interested in politics, leadership and public policy. Fifty rising high school seniors are selected to attend the weeklong academic summer program. Throughout the High School Student Congress, participants focus on different dimensions of politics and public policy through an intensive curriculum. In addition, students engage with lawmakers, local officials, community leaders and others to explore the challenges of leadership in public policy.

BOLT (Bioengineering Opportunities and Leadership Training) - Anschutz Medical Campus
Cost $800.00, 9th - 12th Grade, meals provided, scholarships available for program cost
BOLT is a camp for high school students that teaches about biomedical engineering and some of the exciting career options available for STEM-focused students. This in-person camp at the Department of Bioengineering at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus will be filled with interesting topics and activities designed to introduce high school students to biomedical engineering and leadership topics.

Architecture in the City - CU Denver

Architecture in the City is a summer, noncredit program offered by the College of Architecture and Planning. This is an interdisciplinary, week-long-camp will give participants the opportunity for a hands-on experience in model building and drawing techniques while exposing them to architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and urban planning through a design build project. 27 spots available.

We are a Monday-Friday organization with most opportunities occurring between 8am-4pm. However, students with early release or time during school breaks have enjoyed volunteering with us. Some schools, service clubs, and athletic teams have even organized a field trip to our site for a small group of students to volunteer. Students ages 10 - 15 may volunteer with adult supervision, students ages 16 - 17 may volunteer with parent/guardian written permission.

When ordering transcripts it is important to follow these steps:
- In Naviance, go to 'Colleges I'm Applying To.' If there is a large red bar across the top of the screen that says 'Match Accounts.' Please do this first to connect Naviance to your CommonApp.
- Confirm that your 'Colleges I'm Applying To' list is accurate.
- Request your letters of recommendation from you teachers face-to-face first, then enter the request in Naviance. Remember to assign which teacher recommendations you want sent to what colleges.
- If your college requires a counselor recommendation, complete the survey under 'About Me' in Naviance and schedule a meeting with your counselor before you request your transcripts.
- The cost of transcripts is $1.00 per college. Double check that quantity you are requesting in myschoolbucks matches the number of colleges on your 'Colleges I'm Applying To' list in Naviance.
- There is a 2 week turn-around time from the date of the request.
