HOMECOMING 2021

Due to the unsettled weather forecast for Saturday evening, we have made the decision to move our dance to Friday evening and our varsity football game against High School South to Saturday afternoon. This decision was made in conjunction with High School South as well as High School East to ensure that we are all able to hold both of these important events.


Our homecoming dance will be held on Friday evening, October 15th at 6:00pm, outside of door 18 in the rear of the building. The dance ends at 9:30pm. Students will not be permitted to leave without a parent before 9:00pm. Remember, students must be in school during the day on Friday in order to attend. All attendees must have their school ID's in order to enter both the dance and the game. Conflicted students, who require a refund, should stop by the main office.


The football game against High School South will now be played at 1:00pm on Saturday afternoon, October 16th. Advance Tickets may be purchased in our athletic office during the school day, or at the gate on Saturday.

MARIA RESSA - CLASS OF 1982 - NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER!

Maria Ressa graduated in 1982 from High School North, where she served as class president for three years; performed as a member of the chorus, orchestra, and theatre clubs; played basketball and softball; and, unsurprisingly, was voted “most likely to succeed.”

We are all so impressed and honored to be associated with a MARINER who has been able to make a difference on the world stage. As a representative of students past and present, we would like to name our newly renovated auditorium in her honor.

These recruiters meet with interested students in Guidance and speak about their school and answer any questions that our students may have.
