STAAR Test one is done! This week eighth graders will take their science assessment on Tuesday. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and brings their laptop to school along with their charger. Also encourage them to take their time and give their best effort. This year the test is not timed and students have all day to complete the assessment. I know they will show great growth.

The TJHS Coyotes continue to shine on the track! This weekend our students participated in the GEMS track meet. Frida Ruiz earned a silver in the shotput. Maria Garcia earned gold in the 1600M, 800M, and 400M. Eileen Carrasco place in all five events in which she competed - silver in the 100M hurdles, gold in the 100M, silver in the 400M, silver in the long jump, and bronze in the triple jump. Jackie Leos earned a silver in the 1600M and 800M and a bronze in the long jump. Danna Fierro earned a silver in the shotput. Congratulations Coyotes - You make us proud!
