Counselor's Corner with Mrs. Hendrix

October is the month we focus on making healthy choices with medicine, food and sleep. Red Ribbon Week is October 23-27 and we will celebrate with fun theme days.

Guidance lessons will be age appropriate discussions of refusal skills, and healthy choices.

Here are the daily themes:

Monday: Show your good character. Wear a character shirt. (example: Disney)

Tuesday: Sock it to bad habits. Wear crazy socks today.

Wednesday: “Red-y” to make healthy choices. Wear red today. District wide observance.

Thursday: Buddies help each other. Find a friend and dress like a TWIN.

Friday: Our school is too cool to make bad choices. Wear your Smith shirt today.
