Congratulations, Mr. and Miss MH!

Congratulations to seniors Macy Wallace and Boone Carter who were chosen by their peers as Mr. and Miss Mars Hill 2018-19. Macy and Boone have both been at Mars Hill since preschool/kindergarten, have been four-year members of Celebration Show Choir, and have played on the MH soccer teams. We know they will represent our school well.

Welcome, Mrs. Lori Eastep!

This week we officially added Mrs. Lori Eastep to our staff as our Director of Marketing, Alumni, and Public Relations. Mrs. Eastep (Class of '93) will be enhancing Mars Hill's communications both internally and externally. She will be utilizing our website, social media, email marketing, church/community visits, and much more to tell the story of Mars Hill and to share the great things that are happening in this place.

"I feel extraordinarily blessed to be ‘home’ at MHBS. As a Mars Hill teacher’s kid, alumna, and now parent, I’ve witnessed firsthand how God has worked through this school and its faculty/staff to make a difference in the lives of our children. Our story is a truly beautiful one, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share that story with the world. Please feel free to reach out to me with your ideas… my door is always open!" commented Eastep.

September "Coffee with the Board"

Parents are invited to "Coffee with the Board" on the first Wednesday of each month. Take advantage of this informal meeting with one or two Board members and parents of all ages to voice concerns, give compliments, and ask questions. The first meeting will be on Wed., Sept. 5 at 8:10 am in the Teachers' Workroom in the high school building. Coffee will be provided.

Special Prayers

Remember Mrs. Grossheim and Cole Kelley in your prayers as they seek medical treatment. Mrs. Grossheim is back from M.D. Anderson and has been able to return to school. Cole leaves this weekend for several months in Maryland. We love you both and are praying for you!
