What's Happening!!

It was great to see students working hard in classes this week, as we come back from a long weekend. Freshman class officer speeches and elections were on Wednesday; all candidates gave excellent speeches. Congratulations to our newly elected class officers, Emma Angelo, Edwin Derby, Jessica Hammerstone, and Luke Bryan. A number of high school students volunteered at TES this week during their Back to School Ice Cream Social! Lastly, THS Theater began rehearsing for their upcoming performance of "The Drowsy Chaperone".

The fall sports season is underway, with many teams picking up wins this week. Good luck to all of our fall sports teams.

As a reminder, if you have yet to complete your child's Student Information Form, please do so as soon as possible. This form can be completed through Parent Portal.

Help Support the Class of 2019

Ready to convert household goods, serviceable clothing and sports equipment into cash? Get ready for the Tyngsborough Community Yard Sale, to be held in conjunction with the Tyngsborough Trot Road Race at TES on Sunday, October 7, to help the THS Class of 2019.

For a $20 donation, you get a space reserved for you at the yard sale. Set up between 7:30 and 8 a.m., and keep the profits from everything you sell. Anything that doesn't get sold can either go home with you, or may be donated to a charitable organization (details to come as the date draws near). The yard sale will end at 12:30 p.m. as the road race festivities wind down.

Anyone interested in participating can pay online by using the "Class dues" payment function on the high school website (indicate 10/7 yard sale in the "notes" section), or by cash or check (made out to Tyngsborough High School) delivered to Mr. Redman at the high school.
