St. Louis Preschool
Letter S
Pre-K went on a wild sequencing journey with an old lady who decided to swallow a fly.
Pre-K completed their letter Ss paper for their binder and on Friday did their Letter Ss book. We continue to work with Pre-K helping them with reading skills like turning pages, left to right. We are working to help them develop story strategies, like looking for picture clues and dragging our finger across words as we work them out. Most of us are really getting the hang of ordering our book pages from the title page all the way to page 8.
Early Learners worked with a spider pre-writing page and on Thursday, worked those fine motor skills with our beaded snail craft.
We had lots of fun too this week with centers to compliment our letter Ss work. We had real desks, books and workbooks in our school center, we stacked and splashed in our Wonder Center as we washed with soap and sponges in our sensory tub. We also played with shaving cream and worked on stacking! What a week!!
Teddy Bear Tea Party Next Week!
This will give us a fantastic opportunity to practice our hosting skills and table manners, as we sip on our tea (apple juice) and munch on our crumpets (Teddy Grahams).
Big hats, pearls, gloves and bow ties optional!
Send in Teddy Bears or other stuffed animal friends on Wednesday (3/13) and Thursday (3/14).

Tammi Wintz and Carla Prickel are our Star People
Mrs. Prickel and Mrs. Wintz shared their All About Me pages and their All About Me bags with us, while we enjoyed delicious Rice Krispy Treats.
Mrs. Wintz shared pictures of her family and shared how much she loves to embroider and how she loves to hike in mountains. Mrs. Prickel shared her love of pizza, her grandson and volleyball with us.
It was so much fun to explore the cafeteria and get to know our sweet Cafeteria ladies.
Did you know that each of our cafeteria ladies earned an award from the State of Indiana for their work creating healthy and delicious meals for our students!
Thank you Mrs. Baum
It was so much fun to have Mrs. Baum here and Bronson just could not have been more excited. Joy was just pouring out of him. It was so fun to see him bubble over with the excitement of having his sweet mama here!
