2016 Barrow Peace Prize

A Black History Project

The winner is

Ruby Bridges! After weeks of work on voting, we would like to congratulate Ruby Bridges for winning the 2016 Barrow Peace Prize.

How the Peace Prize works

Our 2nd graders have been researching 6 people from history using PebbleGo, Encyclopedia Britannica, and other resources. They have each recorded a Flipgrid video that they are eager for you to watch and share. After watching the video, who do you think should win the Barrow Peace Prize? Please vote using the Google Form at the bottom of this page. Voting will take place through February 17th. The winner will be announced on February 18th.
