Sunnymeadows Seahawk Newsletter
Mr. Palomino, Principal - August 24, 2020
Welcome Message
I am so proud of each of our students as they continue to be more and more successful at distance learning. To our parents and families, I want to express my gratitude for all the hard work and sacrifices you are making to engage your child on our virtual distance learning platform. As we continue to be partners in this journey, please remember that you can reach out to our Sunnymeadows team anytime you need assistance. It is our pleasure to support you.
Please remember to update your child's enrollment verification on Q ParentConnect. You can also adjust your notification preferences. Please note: If you do not select "text" or "email", you may be missing important information from your teachers and the school. Most teachers are texting parents via the Q Communications system.
Sincerely,
Mr. Palomino
Principal

Virtual Zoom - Back-to-School Night
Our virtual back-to-school night will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020, starting at 6:00 PM. We will have two sessions that night. The virtual sessions will be the following:
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM (session 1)
6:50 PM- 7:30 PM (session 2).
We are having two sessions try to accommodate families who have more than one student attending our school.
When it is time to start the session have your child log in to their teacher's zoom link. At the beginning of each session, the teachers will show a brief video that our administrative team put together. This short presentation will welcome you to Back-to-School Night and will cover our Title I meeting. The teachers will then go over their rules and expectations so your child will be successful in distance learning.
Parent Portal (Parents, please complete by August 28, 2020)

This year, the process is all online through Q ParentConnection. Please complete this process as soon as possible.
All parents should have received an email with instructions on how to access the Parent Portal or a PIN to log in. Please check your email and spam if you haven’t logged in yet. If you did not receive an email, please review the below documents and guidance on how to complete that process.
