Creating SMART Classrooms with SMART Boards (Tech)

Course Dates: June 4, 2013 at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Technology - Main Training Lab

Description: During this session, participants will learn basic SMART Board skills including orienting the board, using right click,etc. as well as how to use the SMART Notebook software, the SMART Toolkit and the SMART Exchange website. Participants will spent the afternoon exploring and creating interactive lessons to use in the classroom, so bring your lesson ideas with you.

Advanced Movie Maker (Tech or G/T)

Course Dates: June 6, 2013 at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Description: Movie Maker 2.6 has quite a bit hidden under the hood. By utilizing custom XML files and images, you can accomplish advanced techniques such as croma key (green screen), compositing, picture-in-picture, and image animation.
