An Insider Report

We talked to Angelina Eberly, who lead the people of Austin in revolting against documents being withdrawn from the capital. " I know that the Mexicans are heading towards the capital, but why should we withdraw everything from the capital. I think we can defend ourselves, and our property." says Angelina.

The President's report

"When I heard that the Mexicans were headed for the capital, I did not want the important documents to be destroyed or stolen, so I had them withdrawn from the capital" says President Sam Houston. When Texans heard about this they thought that this meant the capital was being moved again, so they shot at the officials that were loading the documents onto wagons to prevent them from taking the documents to Houston.
