Dairy Fertility Investigator
The Dairy Fertility Investigator is a new graduate veterinarian who unexpectedly found herself working as a Dairy Extension Officer for the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR). She started this blog to help farmers keep on top of new developments in dairy fertility, and to find out what other farmers are doing to improve their herd reproductive performance.
See video below that goes with the latest blog post 'The Great Calf Rearing Experiment Update' that analyses feeding calves fortified milk. The short video tracks the progress of calves over time.

Look Over the Farm Gate
As farmers in the Murray Dairy region are continuing through tough seasonal conditions, it is important to ensure our farmers and the communities they support look after themselves and "look over the farm gate" to look out for their neighbors. The VFF are working with Murray Dairy to roll out a series of community based training and activities to assist them during this challenging time.
If you would like some helpful resources or to see a community event run in your town, please register your interest with Sarah at Murray Dairy.
