Kinder SUPERKIDS!
Juan Diego Academy June 1, 2016
Dear Parents,
My part is to present a number called, "The Superkids." We are going to be singing and acting out each Superkid with a great song they all will sing.
Each child will be showcased as one of the Superkids or Superkid and their companion.
Look in your old Superkids books to see hat ideas et
They will only have time to put on props not an entire costume.
All Superkids will require a small rectangular sign to wear around their neck that has their Superkid name. Decorate it as you wish but letters big enough to be readable. You can use glitter, etc.
They should have a ribbon attached at each end so you can easily tie it behind their necks and it falls on their chest.
Ruth-CASS She needs to look like a baker. Props: wooden spoon, chef's hat and apron. If you don't have these items for Ruth, I can provide her with some. No worries.
Christopher- OSWALD- He needs to wear big round glasses. A stuffed monster would be great since OSWALD likes odd animals. You can make them out of cardboard and paint them. Please make the round glasses out of box carton or poster board, Big round circular glasses.
Mateo-FRITS- He needs a fishing hat with a shamrock sticking out. Prop: small fishing pole. It can be pretend made out of rolled up paper with a line and fish at the end.
Lillian-Doc-Doc likes to fix things so a pretend tool carrier with hammer etc. I have one in my Pre-K 4 room if you don't have it at home. A tool apron around the waist would look nice but optional.
Natalia-Ettabetta- Natalia needs to wear fake glasses, blue ribbon on her ponytail and carrying books.
LiliAna- Golly- You could make her a brown and white headband with doggie ears hanging down.
Erick-ALFALFA or just ALF is fine for his name sign. He needs to wear a camping hat that folds in front (see pictures of Alf) prop: a pair of fake binoculars or a cantin hanging on his shoulder.
Xavier- ICKY- T.V. prop for him to hold and look through.
Avery-COCONUT the white cat. White ears on a head band and a white tail we can pin to her back.
Brian- SAL- Prop- Baseball plastic bat. He needs a star to pin on his shirt. You can make one out of "carton." Color it blue.
Miley- LILY- Prop- a stuffed lion very small. I have some stuffed lions if you can't find one.
Elliot- HOT ROD- Prop- wear some( 3 big ones) buttons on his shirt. (see his picture in workbook) I have a box car he can use.
Saige- Tac - Prop: Her name sign needs to be lavender background with bright purple lettering with Tac.
Mikayla-Tic - Prop: Her name sign needs to be yellow background with bright orange letters.
Bailey- Toc- Prop: Her name sign needs to be lime green background with bright yellow letters. Bailey has hers done!!! Good job!
Tuan- Prop- He doesn't need anything. I have a lion hat for him and some stuffed lions for him. He does not need a sign around his neck.
Parents,
If you have any questions, just e-mail me. Thank you so much for your support and help to make these props for your children.
Best regards,
Mrs. Farias
