Family Newsletter

Hello everyone-

What a fun and busy week! The kids had a blast roller skating in PE this week. Thanks to our PE team- Mrs. Morgan and Mr. Wilds and thank you to our 5th grade teacher team for sending 5th graders down to support our kindergarteners.

Another fun event was our Literacy Scavenger Hunt which is the kickoff to our One Book, One School event. You can still drop cards off for Aberdeen at school this week. Thank you to PTO, Library team, Mrs. Whitt, Dr. Wilson, and our ASC staff- Dr. Ulrich, Dr. Painter, and Dr. Bailey. Thee kids had a great time and we are all excited to start reading Wishtree together. Students will receive their materials at school on Monday. Happy Reading!

The week ahead is pretty calm and I don't have any specific new information to share outside of my emails from this week. I will be at a conference on Monday and Tuesday, and will be available via email. If there are Covid positives, please continue to follow the process of notifying me via email and I will still get it to those needed. Covid student positive emails may come from either Dr. Wilson or myself these days. Thanks!

Please reach out at any time to share any questions, concerns, or ideas. I am here to help and support you and your family. Thanks for all you do to help keep our students and staff safe.

Take Care-

Reporting Postive Covid Cases

Per our commitment to transparency throughout the pandemic, the KSD COVID Dashboard will continue to provide information about positive cases in the District. View the dashboard by visiting

The primary role of the dashboard is to provide data specific to the potential for in-school transmission. One of the ways we can ensure the dashboard is as up-to-date as possible is quick and accurate reporting of any student that tests positive for COVID. Families can self report a positive case by using the form below:

Report a Positive Case

Thank you for your assistance in ensuring our data is as current as possible.

Additionally, St. Louis County provides a map by zip code and school district to track community cases. It's available at:
