NOTE: All student organizations must send at least one member (or adviser) to attend a Student Organization Orientation. Synopsis

Kyle Patrick Alvarez's drama The Stanford Prison Experiment is based on real events. Dr. Philip Zimbardo (Billy Cruddup) arranges for 24 volunteers to be either guards or inmates a makeshift prison system so that he can observe how their behavior changes. Eventually those playing guards become abusive and dictatorial, while the inmates band together to survive the harsh conditions. What the Stanford professor doesn't expect is that he and the people running the experiment are also being transformed by taking part in it. Friday morning cohort from 10:00 am - 11:30 am on Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov 13.

Friday Afternoon cohort from 12:45 pm - 2:15 pm on Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov 13.

WHAT IS THE EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM (ELP)


The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) offers many workshops ideal for gaining new skills, which are applicable to any organization or personal enrichment. Topics may include: goal setting, time management, conflict resolution, brainstorming techniques, stress management and many more. The programs are designed to introduce current and emerging leaders to leadership development.

Free Golf

Ohio State Lima /Rhodes State Students


If you have an interested in trying out for the 2016 Barons Golf Team this spring, you can play a FREE round of golf at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course. You will be able to play on October 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9, but only one round of golf. All you have to do is show your student ID card from either Rhodes State College or Ohio State Lima.


Please stop in at the pro shop when you arrive so you can put your name, e-mail and phone number on a sign-up sheet Jim Maley (Golf Coach) can contact you about trying out for Baron Golf Team next spring.


You might want to call ahead to make a tee-time at the Pro Shop (419)221-1891. Hawthorne Hills is located at 1000 East Fetter Road. This is a great opportunity to play a free round of golf.
